Anxiety L.A. is a directory of Los Angeles therapists who work with anxiety and related concerns, alongside a library of practical anxiety information. It is open to any licensed therapist who qualifies. The site does not claim to have selected the best therapists in Los Angeles, and it makes no assessment of clinical quality.

Who runs it

Anxiety L.A. is operated by Ballpoint Labs. Will Baum, LCSW, a principal of Ballpoint Labs, is listed in the directory.

Listed therapists maintain independent practices and are responsible for the services they provide. Listing does not create an employment, partnership, or group-practice relationship with Anxiety L.A. or Ballpoint Labs, and neither provides clinical services.

How listings work

Therapists pay a fixed annual fee to be listed. That fee buys a profile and the visibility that comes with it — nothing else. Anxiety L.A. is never paid per referral, client, or appointment.

Does Will Baum’s listing get preferential placement?

No. It is a normal paid listing at the standard rate and appears in ordinary rotation, exactly like every other listing.

Does paying more buy placement?

No. Every listing is the same listing, and position in the results cannot be bought. If featured placement is ever offered, it will be labeled as advertising wherever it appears.

Why does the order keep changing?

Listing order is randomized. It stays stable while you browse and is redistributed for the next visitor, so no therapist holds a permanent top position.

Licensing

Every listed therapist supplies a license number, which is checked against the relevant California board’s published licensee records. Those records are republished monthly and can be up to 30 days out of date. Everything else on a profile is provided by the therapist.
