Entertainment Industry, ADHD, and Women's Issues Therapist
About
I create a compassionate, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their goals and identify their strengths. Through empathy, authenticity, and humor I collaborate with clients to navigate difficult circumstances by exploring their past experiences and current motivations. I believe therapy is a conversation, a flow state to help identify your authentic voice and use it to make healthy decisions derived from a place of confidence and calm.
I am a human first, and a therapist second. The personal aspects that most inform my work are my identity as a woman and a mother. Coming from a place of curiosity and cultural humility, I specialize in women’s issues because I care deeply about the nuances of the female experience. As a woman in the entertainment industry, I became painfully aware of the toxicity and time constraints people in the business face. For this reason, I work on Saturdays, understanding that 9-5 doesn’t always apply and shouldn't be a barrier to receiving support. As the mother and partner of beautiful humans with ADHD, I have completed additional training to learn how neurodivergent brains function and how to help them thrive. My own struggles with anxiety, coupled with training specific to anxiety management, create space to explore clients' unique symptomatology and identify the best means of relieving it.
It hasn't always been easy for me to navigate others' expectations, to figure out where my needs start and other people's end. To give myself grace when I inevitably make mistakes. But all the complications and missteps have informed my understanding of the human experience and made me better equipped to help fellow travelers. I believe we all have a story. A story created by us but with contributions from our family, culture, community, and friends. It is an honor to be trusted with your story.

Approach
I help clients grow confidence and decrease anxiety by unpacking their lived experiences to identify patterns no longer serving them. Understanding how your neural pathways developed allows for newer, healthier pathways to replace them. I incorporate polyvagal work to address trauma and stress stored in the body and aid emotional regulation. Based on your individual needs, we will build a toolbox of practices and exercises to help you move through perfectionism, imposter syndrome, burnout, worry, tension, angst, and fear. Anxiety impacts our relationships, sense of self, and capacity for growth. Let's figure it out together.
